Delete your account

You can delete your MatRide account and its personal data at any time. Apple and Google both require an account-deletion route that does not depend on contacting support, so the in-app path below is the primary one.

In the app

1. Open MatRide and sign in.
2. Go to Account.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Confirm. You’ll be signed out once the request is accepted.

If you can’t sign in

Email support@matride.com from the address on the account. We’ll verify it belongs to you before doing anything, and we will never ask you for your password.

What is deleted, and what is not

Your profile, saved places, contact details and account credentials are deleted. Some records are retained where the law requires it — completed trip and payment records are kept for tax, accounting and dispute purposes, and safety-incident records are kept where retention is legally required. Retained records are separated from your profile so they no longer identify you for ordinary use.

If money is owed in either direction — an unpaid balance, or a refund in progress — deletion completes once that settles.
