About
Rides that behave predictably
MatRide is a ride platform. A rider should know the fare before booking and who is driving before getting in; a driver should know what a trip earned and what was deducted.
What we’re building on
Say the real number
Fares, deductions and fees are shown before they are charged, not explained afterwards.
Build for the place
A market gets the payment method that works there, rather than one model forced everywhere.
Earn the trust once
Drivers are verified before their first trip. We would rather be slower to open than sorry later.
Don’t promise what isn’t built
Anything still coming is labelled as coming. Nothing on this site describes a feature that does not exist.
Where we’re starting
Two markets, properly
We’d rather run properly in a couple of markets than badly in twenty. Our launch cities sit on different continents and pay for things in genuinely different ways, which was the point: building for both from the start means the platform can’t quietly assume one way of paying is the only way. When we add a city, it’ll be because payments, driver verification and support all work there.
